Jenny Holbrook has been riding horses since before she could walk. Starting out in 4H she joined Pony Club at age 9,
and soon developed a passion for the sport of eventing at age 12, having been an avid competitor ever since.
Jenny earned her “B” rating in Pony Club, and went on to show in both the dressage and jumper ring. Jenny’s passion
for riding and competing is reflected in her teaching and her students successes.
Over the last 15 yrs Jenny has ridden with world-renowned event trainers Bruce Davidson, Ian Stark, Scott Keach
and Major Jeremy Beale, as well as having ridden in clinics with dressage trainers Gerd Zuther, Christine Traurig and Henrik Johansen.
Jenny’s students have successfully competed through the Preliminary level of eventing, and Jenny has developed several horses through
the preliminary level.
Jenny firmly believes in continuing her own riding education and regularly takes lessons herself with nationally recognized
West coast coaches.
Jenny's philosophy in training both horses and riders is that of kindness and patience. She believes that regular work on the
fundamentals of dressage and jumping results in a well rounded horse and rider combination that is able to take on the
challenges of eventing.
Jenny graduated from the University of Washington in 2006 with a BA in American History.
